Christmas #1

Since this is the Christmas with my parents we celebrated this weekend with the Perkins Family. We all piled in Mary's (Brian's mom) new car to meet Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Perkins at a wonderful little restaurant in Tuscola, Texas called The Homeplace. It was an old farmhouse that served really good homecooked food (the mac n' cheese was the best). After a wonderful lunch we headed back to our house to let Briley get his first opportunity to open up presents. He was too small last Christmas, and way to tired at his 1st birthday. After present time Brian's parents joined us at Paul Ann Baptist to a Christmas concert with an amazing singer named Anthony Evans. It was a perfect day full of Christmas festivities and I am so excited for Christmas #2.

It's Official!

He was such a sweet little baby.

And now he is sweet Big Boy!

Briley is officially 1.5 years old. We just went in for his check up and thankful he has done a little more growing compared to the last appointment. I believe both height and weight were under the 20th percentile. Well he weighed in at 23 lbs (17th percentile) and he was 32.75 in (67th percentile). So we have ourselves a tall/skinny little boy. I can't believe he is 18 months and will be a big brother shortly. We absolutely love every minute with him and its crazy how much joy children can bring to your life.

A way overdue blog

This year we had a lot to be thankful for... we have wonderful family and friends, Brian got a promotion, I have a healthy baby girl growing inside of me, and Brian's Grandpa had a successful heart surgery where they put a pacemaker in. God is sooooo Goood! We had a wonderful day in Abilene with Grandma and Grandpa Perkins, and the food was amazing, too.
I really wish I could get Briley to wear his hats because he has a huge collection, but he loves wearing Brian and my hats backwards or sideways. It's hilarious so I uploaded a few of the pictures.

This is a picture from 20 wks 3 days. I have successfully passed the half way mark and baby Kimber Lindsay is kicking like crazy. Everytime she moves I can't help but feel joy of the miracle that God is giving to Brian and I. I will post more belly pictures once there is more changes.

No Tricks, Just Treats

Briley as a little monkey

Briley was able to go Trick or Treating for the 1st time this year and it was wonderful. We went over to a friends home so we could go with their 2 year old son, Judson. They had an awesome wagon that made things a lot easier and we just wheeled Briley up to the door.

Briley and Judson in the wagon. He was a golfer and they were adorable together. I am already thinking about what Briley will be next year.

Daddy's Softball Games

Briley and I love to go watch Brian play co-ed club softball. We only get to go to the early games and Briley loves to see his daddy on the field.

Showing off my baby bump!

Well today, Sunday, the baby turned 15 weeks. Somedays I feel like I have a bump and some days I don't. Well today there was a definite bump and I couldn't be happier so I thought I would show it off.

MeMo's 83rd B-day Weekend

This past weekend we traveled to Junction, along with the whole family, to celebrate Memo's 83rd Birthday. The weather was perfect for a wonderful day outdoors. We went to Aunt Sherry's house which sits on tons of land with a view of the river. There was lots of games for the kids to run and play the entire day, and plenty of reclining chairs and a hammock for the adults to lay down and relax.
This is a picture of all the grandkids. Briley didn't want to take the picture but he was so happy the rest of the day.

Playing Football with Daddy.

I just wanted to add a picture of Hunter. He is such a sweet and not to mention beautiful puppy. He is quickly catching up to his daddy.
